Barely 48 hours to the 2021 African Cup of Nations qualifier against Squirrel of Benin, Nigeria's Suoer Eagles has suffered injury setback.

The match against Benin is scheduled for Goodswill Akpabio stadium in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state while the match against Lesotho comes up four days later.

Locomotive Moscow defender Bryan Idowu was on Monday confirmed out of the double header match due to passport issues.

The Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr has quickly called up Enyimba defender Ifeanyi Anaemena as replacement for the left back.

Idowu was part of Nigeria team to Russia 2018 World cup but missed out of the 2019 African Cup of Nations in Egypt.
