The coach in the last two weeks has been in Doha, Qatar, with some players preparing for the upcoming tournament that will start on the upcoming weekend. After spending time with a number of the Black Stars players and engaging some of the players yet to report to camp, Coach Milovan Rajevac has settled on his final squad. The 28-man squad surprisingly includes unfit Ajax star Mohammed Kudus with Felix Afena-Gyan and Salis Abdul axed from the provisional squad. The Black Stars is hoping to break the jinx this time around, the last time they lifted the cup was in 1982.
