Musona and Mahachi scored for Zimbabwe in the 26th and 43rd minutes of the match while Keita reduced the tally for Guinea in the 49th minute of the game. Teranga Lions of Senegal was held again by little fancied Malawi as they played out a goalless draw for the entire duration of the game.
