AFCON 2021: Super Eagles Players Missing In The Team Of The Tournament

Sampson Adedeji Despite having a decent group stage performance, no Nigeria's Super Eagles player was selected in the all-star eleven released by the Confederation of African Football, BSNsports.com.ng can report. The Nigeria side was decent to watch in their group stage matches winning all their three matches in style. FC Nantes winger, Moses Simon was outstanding in all the group matches but Nigeria failed to make pass the round of 16 after they lost 0-1 to the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia. According to the all star XI selected team released, champions Teranga Lions of Senegal has 4 players, first runners up Pharaoh of Egypt has 3 players, Burkina Faso 2 players and Cameroon and Morocco have 1 player each. 11 players were also named on the bench without Nigeria players.
