The former Eagles captain, Eguavoen said, "Tyronne Ebuehi is playing a match for his club tonight (Thursday night) and would join us today. Also, Jamilu Collins will link up with us on Friday (today). However, it is difficult to name a replacement for Odion Ighalo because the rule that guides replacement for players submitted for AFCON states that only injured player can be replaced. And as it is, Odion is not injured and he's doing everything to make sure he joins us here.
Super Eagles will play their group D opener against Egypt on January 11 before taking on Sudan and Guinea Bissau on January 15 and 19 respectively.
