AFCON 2022 Qualifier: Super Eagles Will Be Under Pressure Against Leone Stars, Says Ike Shorunmu

Former Super Eagles goalkeeper, Ike Shorunmu has said the team will be under pressure ahead of the doubleheader AFCON qualifiers against Sierra Leone, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The ex-international disclosed this to brila.net that no minnows in football in this era – as Leone Stars will double their strength and we will be under pressure because they will want to do all they can to nail to get a point in Benin. “There is no work over again in football most particularly countries that want to play with Nigeria.”
Super Eagles will be playing their third nation’s cup qualifiers after they got their winning streak against Republic of Benin and Lesotho, making them to top the group with six points after two matches.
The first leg will be played on the 13th of this month at Samuel Ben Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin with the second encounter to be on the 17th same month of November 2020 at Freetown, Sierra Leone.
