AFCON 2023 To Hold In Summer In Cote D'Ivoire Sampson Adedeji According to the report coming from Cairo, Egypt CAF headquarter, the 2023 African Cup of Nations will be a stage in the summer, BSnsports.com.ng can report. Just before 2019, the biennial tournament is usually held between January and February but was moved to the summer in Egypt in 2019. The football body decided to return the competition to its usual January, February for 2021 AFCON coming up in Cameroon. The report suggests that the competition will be back to the summer in 2023 when Coted'Ivoire will stage the events.
