AFCON Is An Invisible Monster - Napoli Manager Sampson Adedeji Manager of the Italia Serie A club Napoli, Luciano Spalleti has described the 2021 African Cup of Nations as an invincible monster, BSNsports.com.ng can report. He made the statement during a press conference when he was trying to look at how many players have sustained an injury ahead of the competition. Three Napoli players Khalidou Koulibaly (Senegal), Zambo Anguissa (Cameroon) and Nigeria's Victor Osimhen have all sustained injury and remained doubtful for both club and country. “There is still this ‘invisible monster’, the AFCON, which takes players from the locker room, without knowing when you will find them, or what to do,” Spalleti said. The biennial competition is slated to start on the 9th of January with an opening match between host Cameroon and Burkina Faso.
