AFCON
Super Eagles’ and Enyimba of Aba goalkeeper, Ikechukwu Ezenwa believes Nigeria must take all three points from their 2019 AFCON qualifier against Libya in Uyo if they are to stand any chance of qualifying for the main tourney in Cameroon next year, BSNSports.com.ng reports. “It’s very important for us to claim the maximum points because it’s a must-win game to keep us in contention in the group. Anything other than a victory will jeopardize our chances of qualification to the Nations Cup. “I believe we will qualify from the group because we have the right players to do so,” Ezenwa added. However, Enyimba FC shot stopper disclosed to BSNSports.com.ng after their loss against Kano Pillars in Gombe, stating that he is good to go. “First of all I want to thank God that the injury wasn’t that serious. It was just because of the heat and I couldn’t see well but with the medical attention I got I think I have recovered well.”
