AFCON Qualifier: Freetown Is A Tough Place To Pick Points - Yobo

Ahead of the 2021 African Cup Of Nations double header against Leone Stars of Sierra Leone, Nigeria's Super Eagles assistant coach, Joseph Yobo, has said playing away against a country like Sierra Leone is a difficult task, BSNSports.com.ng can reports .
The three time Africa champions will host Leone star of Sierra Leone at Samuel Ogbemudia stadium in Benin on Friday, in the match day 3 of the qualifier before moving to Siaka Sieven Stadium in Freetown for the match day 4on 17th November, 2020.
The former Everton star player while speaking to Super Eagles YouTube channel, emphasised that Nigeria need to secure maximum points at home and hope to secure a favourable result in the second leg.
“When you play at home, it’s important you play well and win. When you play away, especially against Sierra Leone, it is a difficult place to go to.
“All we have at this moment is the first game at home. I believe our performance will give us the three points,” He stated.
Before retiring, Yobo was one of the most capped Super Eagles Player 101 alongside goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama.
