AFCON Qualifier: Minister Of Sports Apologise To Nigerians

Following the dismal outing of Nigeria's Super Eagles in the just concluded match day 3 and 4 of the 2021 African Cup Of Nations qualifier against Sierra Leone, Minister of Youth and sports Hon Sunday Dare has apologised to Nigeria football lovers, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Three time Africa champion failed to secure a win over the two legs against Leone Stars of Sierra Leone but still able to maintain its top position on the table.
The Minister through his social media handle tendered unreserved apology and promised to do the needful.
" The performance of the Super Eagles from their last two matches calls to question the suitability and competences of Technical Adviser, Rohr. Nigerian football deserves better. The needful will be done. Apologies to all football lovers," he wrote.
Nigeria will have the opportunity to qualify for the biennial competition next year if they can secure a win in the remaining 2 matches.
