AFCON Qualifier: Sparta Rotterdam Celebrate Okoye's Clean Sheet

Dutch Eredivisie side, Sparta Rotterdam celebrated the clean sheet recorded by their goalkeeper, Maduka Okoye who was in goal for Nigeria in the 0-0 draw in Freetown, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Despite conceding four goals in the match day 3 of the 2021 African Cup Of Nations qualifier against Sierra Leone, the team head coach, Gernot Rohr, kept faith with the youngster for the match day 4 tie.
Okoye was able to regain his confidence and made some glaring saves and ensured that Nigeria's Super Eagles secured a goalless draw at the Siaka Sieven Stadium in Freetown.
The club reacted to his performance via its social media handle after the match.
" A clean sheet for Okoye In Nigeria, which does not beat Sierra Leone " the club stated.
Okoye is expected be back in the Sparta Rotterdam line up for this weekend league match.
