AFCON U17 Fallout: Guinea faces World Cup disqualification By Sampson Adedeji After World football governing body FIFA accepted Senegal football federation protest over two Guinea U17 players, the country is set to be axed from upcoming World cup. Morocco and Senegal lodged a protest against two Guinea players at the recently concluded AFCON U17 in Tanzania. Senegal went ahead and approached Japanese Football Association who provided a passport copy of both players which shows they were a year holder than the actual age they are claiming. The reports coming from FIFA Headquarters in Zurich on Friday, shows that CAF Disciplinary Committee has recommended for their removal after thorough investigation. Guinea defeated Nigeria's Golden Eaglets at the semi final via penalty shootout. If they are eventually disqualified, the country that will replace them will be determined by CAF.
