Uganda FA Promises USD 200,000 For Afcon Trophy By Omolagba Oluwayemi The Uganda U20 team have been promised a whooping USD 200,000 to win the ongoing U20 Afcon Trophy BSNSports.com.ng reports. The Uganda team has shown that money can at times buy success as they have gotten USD 80, 000 already for reaching the quarter-finals. The Uganda team finished second in group A with six points and in Thursday's quarterfinal defeated Burkina Faso 5-3 on penalties to pick up one of the semi-finals tickets. The Team has already won up to USD 80,000 reaching the Quarterfinals and if they should win the trophy next Saturday, they will have USD 200, 000 to share in addition to the USD 80, 000 on ground. This Communication was confirmed in a zoom meeting between the Uganda Football Federation (FUFA) President and the players.
