AFCON U23: Nwakali storms Dream Team VII camp

Ahead of the 2019 U23 African Cup of Nations in Egypt, EDF Logrono midfielder Kelechi Nwakali has arrived the Dream Team VII camp in Abuja.

His resumption served as motivation and morale booster as players in camp were happy to see him joining the team ahead of the U23 Nations Cup finals in Egypt

The team resumed camping in Abuja this week under the tutelage of Coach Imama Amapakabo and other technical crew member, BSN reports

Nwakali arrived on Wednesday evening and was in training with the rest of the players on Thursday morning at the Abuja National Stadium.

The rest of the invited foreign based players are expected in camp this weekend as the competition draw closer.

Nigeria are placed in group B alongside Cote d'Ivoire, South Africa and Zambia.
