AFCON U23: South Africa Coach Notoane to announce final list this week

Barely three weeks into the start of 2019 African U-23 Cup of Nations in Egypt, one of the group opponent of Nigeria's Dream Team VII, South Africa will announce its final list of players for the competition this week, BSNSports.com.ng can report..
BSN reports that South Africa played a 1-1 draw against Egypt in a practice game in Ismailia before narrowly losing 1-0 to the same opponents in a friendly international game at Cairo International Stadium on Sunday, 13 October 2019.
The U23 coach David Notoane has been meeting with various clubs and talking to some overseas players as he concludes his squad to travel to Egypt.
The team is scheduled to go into camp on Monday, 28 October next week where they will undergo mandatory medicals before flying out to Egypt.
South Africa are in Group B together with COSAFA compatriots Zambia whom they meet in the opening game at Al Salam Stadium on 9 November, Ivory Coast and champions Nigeria. Group A consists of hosts Egypt, Cameroon, Ghana and Mali.
