AFCON U23: South Africa start preparations for Dream Team

In readiness for the 2019 U23 African Cup of Nations in Egypt, South Africa U23 national has started preparations for the competitions, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

The South Africa U23 national team pummeled their counterparts from Zimbabwe in the final round of the qualifier to pick the competition ticket.

They resumed training on Monday at Mark Parks training centre with virtually all the invited players arriving camp to commence preparation.

The team will depart for Egypt on Tuesday for the proposed international friendly match against Egypt U23 on Friday and Sunday.

South Africa are placed in the group B alongside Nigeria, Cote d'Ivoire and Zambia for the competition that is slated for November 8th to 22nd in Egypt.

The top 3 teams in Egypt will represent Africa at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic games in Japan.
