By Omolagba Oluwayemi Criticized by many for his poor form whenever invited to play for the Super Eagles of Nigeria, Paul Onachu today justified his inclusion in the Super Eagles squad as his 90th minutes goal helped Nigeria end Benin Republic 8 years unbeaten home record, BSNSports.com.ng reports. Although he was initially excluded from the list but the ban placed on French players from travelling out of Europe paved way for him and the KRC Genk goal poacher delivered this time around the way he's always do for his club. It took Nigeria who although had secured qualification before kicking the ball against Benin as a result of the goalless draw between Lesotho and Sierra Leone third minute of additional time to break the squirrels 8 years standing home records. Osimhen, Onyekuru and Iheanacho all came to scoring for Nigeria before Onachu broke the deadlock. With 11 points from 5 games and one game left to go, Nigeria is guaranteed of a first place finish. At the refurbished Teslim Balogun Stadium Surulere Lagos next Tuesday, the Super Eagles will host the Crocodiles of Lesotho while Benin Republic will visit Sierra Leone as they both battle it out for who will join the Super Eagles in the train to Cameroon
