AFN Releases Programs For 2022. Sampson Adedeji Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN) has released its programme of events for the year 2022, BSNsports.com.ng can report. According to the programme, the events will commence with the registrations and documentation of all states and club affiliated with the federation. This will run through January and non-Olympic events which will hold on the 29th of this month at Ozoro or Asaba. The second event of the year which is the comer's competition will take place between February 25th and 26th and will also have on its sidelines an anti-doping seminar for athletes and coaches. There will be two relay races and there will be Lagos City Marathon on February 12 and the Silver-label Okpekpe International 10km road race in Okpekpe, Edo state on May 28. The All Nigeria Open Athletics Championships will also take place in Asaba in June and it will serve as selection trials for the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, United Kingdom and the World Athletics Championships in Eugene, Oregon.
