Africa Women Handball Championship: Again, Nigeria Face Cameroon In Quarterfinal By Our Reporter Nigeria will play host Cameroon in the quarter final of the ongoing Africa Women Handball Championship on Tuesday. The qualification of the National Women Handball Team was confirmed after they defeated Kenya 26-21 in their last group to qualify as one of the two best losing teams. The Coach Rafiu Salami tutored side had lost their first two matches to DR Congo and host Cameroon before a win against Kenya ensured they finish 3rd in group B. The team will have to redeem their image on Tuesday when they face Cameroon for the semifinal ticket. A win against Cameroon will ensure Nigeria get to semifinal since they last qualified for the top 4 in the 1992 edition held in Morocco (many of the current team members weren't born then) and they will also qualify for the World Handball Championship later in the year in Spain.
