African Minifootball Nations Cup: Nigeria Thrash South Africa 9-1 In Group Opener By Niyi Busari The Nigerian Minifootball national team, the Jaguars have defeated their south African counterparts 9-1 in their first game of the competition in Tripoli on Sunday 6th May 2018. Nigeria ran riot from the blast of the whistle in a pulsating game in Tripoli Libya at the on going African Minifootball cup tournament. Third best team in the world Senegal who is in the same group with Nigeria had earlier played a 1-1 draw with Tunisia. The Jaguar are leading the group with 3 points and 8 goal different in the 6 aside game of thirty minutes each half. Despite their first outing, the Jaguar are looking forward to be one of the four teams that will qualify to represent Africa at the world cup in Australia,in 2019. The Jaguar will slug it out with Tunisia in their next match on Tuesday 7pm Nigerian time.
