African Volleyball Championship: Team Nigeria Finish In 7th Position

African Volleyball Confederation has released the final placement of teams that participated in the just-concluded African volleyball championship held at the Kigali Arena, Rwanda, BSNsports.com.ng can report
Sixteen countries including Nigeria took part in the competition and it was Tunisia that clinched the title after they defeated Cameroon in the final
After losing the first game to Tunisia, the Nigeria side bounced back to beat South Sudan and Ethiopia in the second and last group game.
Cameroon proved too much for Nigeria in the quarter-final and sent them parking in three straight sets.
Nigeria was able to bounce back to beat DR Congo in the classification match.
The final ranking released on Tuesday evening put in Nigeria in 7th position while Tunisia finished in number, Cameroon 2nd and Egypt 3rd respectively.
