African Women's Cup Of Nations: Super Falcons To Defend Title In Morocco

By Sampson Adedeji   Nigeria's Super Falcons will defend its African Women Cup Of Nations ( AWCON) title in Morocco in 2022 as its announced by the Africa soccer governing body on Friday, BSNSports.com.ng reports. Nigeria won the competition at the expense of South Africa in Ghana in 2018 but was unable to defend the title in 2020 due to outbreak of Corona virus which halted football activities across the world. CAF announced Morocco as the host of the competition on Friday at a meeting Cameroon organised ahead of the 2021 Championship of African Nations ( CHAN). The 2022 competition will also serve as qualifier for the 2023 Women World Cup that will be staged by Australia and New Zealand.
