Afrobasketball Qualifier: D'Tigers Win Again, Defeat Rwanda

Nigeria senior men's basketball team D'Tigers continue its impressive display at the ongoing 2021 Afrobasketball qualifier on Saturday night as they defeated hosts, Rwanda in Kigali, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The Nigeria basketball senior national team recorded an impressive 76 - 56 victory over South Sudan in the opening group match on Thursday and sent a warning signals to all other teams.
Nigeria just like in the first match dominated from the first quarter with a 22 - 13 lead.
The domination continued in the second quarter with a 47 - 28 win but 3rd quarter seems challenging just like the match against South Sudan.
Rwanda was able to close the gap to 14 points in the 3rd quarter but Nigeria still scale through with 66 - 52 win.
D'Tigers bounced back strongly in the last quarter and secured a 83 - 62 win.
The trio of captain Ike Diogu, Obi Emegano and Ike Iroegbu contributed 46 points for the D'Tiger.
Nigeria last match is slated for for Sunday against Mali who lost to South Sudan earlier in the day.
