  Afrobasketball Qualifier: Mike Brown Releases D'Tiger's Final List By Sampson Adedeji Ahead of the 2021 Afrobasketball qualifier in Kigali, the head coach of Nigeria's D'Tiger, Mike Brown, has released the final list of 12 Players that will represent the country in the championship, BSNSports.com.ng reports. The former coach of Golden State Warrior who was appointed early in the year arrived Kigali, Rwanda alongside his assistant John Kuster last weekend ahead of the competition. The team led by captain Ike Diogu touched down on Monday and commenced the training on Tuesday in readiness for the qualifier. Out of the 20 man provisional list released, Brown, late Tuesday night trimmed down the list to 12 players required by the tournament organiser. Nigeria will play South Sudan in the group opening match before facing Mali and Rwanda in the final two group matches. D'Tigers 12-man roster for AfroBasket 2021 6 -Ike Diogu 4 -Ben Uzoh 1 -Ike Iroegbu 11-Obi Emegano 3-Caleb Agada 2 -Keith Omoerah 12 -Ibe Agu 5 -Emmanuel Omogbo 22 -Michael Gbinije 32 - Amanze Egezeke 0 -Jordan Ogundiran 9 Chima Moneke Nigeria in 2015 were the champions of Africa, the only time they achieved the feat. The captain of D'Tigers, Ike Diogu, has promised that he will lead the team to repeat the feat as they go out for the qualifiers,hoping to pick the ticket for the finals.
