Again, CAF Announces New Dates For AFCON, World Cup Qualifiers

Africa soccer governing body (CAF) has released a new date for the 2021 African Cup Of Nations and 2022 World Cup qualifiers, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Match day 3 and 4 of the cup of African nations qualifier supposed to have been played since March 2020 but have to be shifted due to outbreak of Corona virus.
2022 World Cup qualifier games which were earlier slated to start in October 2020 across Africa could not hold due to the pandemic which the continent is yet to totally contain the and games have to be postponed.
CAF on Wednesday afternoon stated in a statement that the 3rd and 4th match-days of the AFCON 2021 qualifiers will be played in November, 2020. These qualifications will be completed in March 2021 when the 5th and 6th match-days are scheduled.
2022 Africa World Cup qualifiers first and second match-days are scheduled for May-June 2021, the 3 rd and 4th in August-September and the last two in October.
