  Agali Opens Up On What Happened In 2004 AFCON By Sampson Adedeji Former Nigeria's Super Eagles striker, Victor Okechukwu Agali, has opened up on what happened in the Super Eagles camp in 2004 African Cup Of Nations in Tunisia, BSNSports.com.ng reports. Agali alongside Yakubu Aiyegbeni and defender Celestine Babayaro were decamped from the team camp after the first match against Morocco after an allegation of indiscipline. While speaking to Brila fm Radio, Agali said they were wrongly alleged and punished . He further stated that he had been apologized to  by the former general secretary of the Nigeria Football Federation, late Chief Taiwo Ogunjobi. " NFF Officials lied about what happened in Tunisia, I was kicked out of the Super Eagles on false allegations,” said the former Forward. “I remember years later Taiwo Ogunjobi, of blessed memory, called me to apologize for what happened. “Football officials had the press at their disposal and would often use them to put out all sorts of narratives. They didn’t care how if affected the player’s, as long as it’s in line with their agenda," he said. Agali now work with present Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr as scouting officer.
