Aguda Apologises To Rivers United Fans Over CAF Confederation Cup Ouster

Rivers United forward Godwin Aguda has apologised to the fans of the club following their ouster in the CAF Confederation Cup against Enyimba international, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The Pride of Rivers crashed out via penalty shootouts despite beating the People's Elephants by a lone goal courtesy of Fortune Omoniwari 43rd minute strike.
Aguda apologised to Rivers United fans and at the same time wished Enyimba all the best as they progressed in the competition.
" We are heartbroken, we apologize to our fans for not winning the battle. We put our blood on it, but it wasn't enough to sail through.
"We'll concentrate on the domestic competitions, we have to win a major title this season for our fans. Congratulations Enyimba FC, all the best," he said.
Rivers United will have another opportunity to avenge its defeat when the two meet again in the rescheduled match day 11 game of the league .
