Ahmad Ghali Makes Fortuna Liga Team of The Week

Former Flying Eagles forward, Ahmad Ghali who plays for AS Trencin has been named in the Slovakian League team of the week.

Ghali has been is a fine form in the new Fortuna Liga season and has created two assists in two league matches he has played. His superb form has not gone unnoticed, the 20-year old earned his first ever team of the week appearance in the Slovakian league since he debuted for AS Trencin towards in end of last season.

The boy from Kano as he is fondly called appears to have settled down in the Slovakian league as he as been a cynosure of all eyes this season, terrorising opposition defenders with his sleeky skills like Brazilian Neymar Jr. Ghali provided a sumptuous assist to Eduvie Ikoba at the weekend in Trencin 2-2 away draw at MFK Ruzomberok.

The forward was also responsible for the assist that provided the goal which rescued a point for Trencin on Thursday, after finding Hamza Cactovic who smashed home the equaliser late in the game against Zlaté Moravce.

These performances are what earned the attacker his first team of the week appearance in the Slovakian league.
