Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa was in action in Fatih Karagumruk win (3-1) against Kasimpasa at the Recep Tayyip Erdogan Stadi, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The former Leicester City star started the game from the bench due to tactical reason but was introduced in the second half for Yann Karamoh and he was able to impress with his minutes spent on the pitch of plaay.
Ahmed Musa was outstanding after coming on into the game as he contributed his quota by making sure that his side got the whole three points of the day despite been reduced to nine men after two players from the visiting team were sent off the pitch.
The visitor took the lead with an own-goal from Tomas Brecka who made it one nil after putting the ball into his own net before Yann Karamoh doubled the lead for his side in the 20th minute to make it 2-0
The visitor in the 27th minute were able to extend the lead with a goal from Aleksandar Pesic as he scored via a penalty by putting the ball away from the spot to make it three goals to nil, before Yusuf Erdogan put one back for the host in the 32nd minute to make it three goals to one going into the half time break.
The tempo of the game got more tensed up in the second half as they both put up some physical, tactical and technical displays but none was able to found the back of the net with all attempts from both sides to add more to the tally proving abortive as it ended three goals to one at full time.
The crucial win for Fatih Karagumruk has now taken them to the fifth spot on the table with twenty two points in thirteengames played and as such be hoping to keep the winning streaks going in their next fixture, so as to keep their pursuit going in the competition
