After suffering a shocking defeat in the hand of Bayana Bayana of South Africa, Nigeria's Super Falcons forward Fransisca Ordega has tendered an unreserved apology to Nigerians, BSNsports.com.ng can report
South African women's side surprisingly defeated Super Falcons by 2-4 at the just concluded Aisha Buhari invitational tournament in Lagos.
The defeat generated a lot of controversies and debates among Nigeria football fans and supporters across the country and beyond.
Ordega in her reactions apologized to fans and promise to right the wrong very soon.
She further confirmed her return back to her base in Russia.
"Back to base, Disappointed? Yes, Angry? Yes, Sad? Yes.
"Shit happens yeah!! Sometimes the best thing to do is not think, not wonder, not imagine, not obsess.
"Just breathe and have faith that everything will work out for the best.
"We will bounce back, I promise, this is to all our fans out there. Have faith in us, focussing on the positive, such is life," she said.
The next assignment for Suoer Falcons is the 2022 African Cup of Nations (AWCON) qualifier against Black Queens of Ghana.
