Aiteo Cup: Enyimba, MFM FC Misses Out As States Submit Representatives By Omolagba Oluwayemi With the 2020/2021 season National Aiteo Cup upon us, more than 25 states have submitted their representatives to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) with two times CAF Champions League winners, Enyimba of Aba and MFM FC of Lagos being notable names missing out, BSNSports.com.ng reports. States received a short notice from NFF last week stating that all representatives both for the male and female categories should be forwarded to the Football governing body with Monday 14th of June set as the deadline and while majority have sent their representatives, few are yet to decide. Due to the short notice, some States chose the winner of the last edition as representative while some unanimously voted for their representative and others played the competition even with the short notice. States like Lagos State, Benue State presented past winners while board room meetings in State like Oyo was held to determine who to represent them. Some are yet to decide while few are set to play the State final before submitting their representatives. The following are some of the teams expected to fly the flag of their state during the 2020/21 National Aiteo Cup finals:
