Aiteo Cup: Nasarawa United Pip El-Kanemi Qualify for Semifinal By Admin Nasarawa United have joined Katsina United and Enugu Rangers in the semifinals of this year’s Aiteo Cup after a late winner by Kabiru Balogun lifted them past El Kanemi Warriors in Aba on Thursday. It looked like the third quarterfinal will be settled on penalties before Balogun grabbed the winning goal for ‘The Solid Miners’ from Lafia. Now, Katsina United, Enugu Ranger and Nasarawa United are in the semifinal of 2018 AITEO Cup. The final quarterfinal between Enyimba and Kano Pillars is scheduled for Sunday in Gombe. The overall winners of the cup competition will represent Nigeria in next year’s CAF Confederation Cup.
