Undefeated Nigerian heavyweight sensation, Efe Ajagba, says he is ready for his December 21 bout against Ukrainian opponent, Lago Kiladze, at the Toyota Arena, Ontario, and he will be going for a knock-out.
Ajagba pulled out of his last bout against Congo-born Belgian fighter, Jack Mulowayi, in October due to injury and will be hoping to get his 12th win against the more experienced Kiladze who has had a total of 31 fights.
The 33-year-old Georgian-born fighter has had a total of 31 fights, 26 wins, 18 by knock-out, four losses and one draw. Kaladze, who had a bright start to his boxing career winning his 20 first fights, has failed to win his last four bouts, losing three and drawing his last fight against Robert Alfonso.
“I am very ready for this fight. I pulled out of my last bout because of a back injury and before then I defeated Demirezen through unanimous decision but this time, it will be a knockout out.
“He is a good boxer if you look at his record he started very well and he is definitely more experienced than I am but I am more determined. He has not won in his last five four fights, I want to ensure I add another loss to his record,” he told Sports Extra. Ajagba has an 81.82 percent knockout record.
