Following his amazing performance for the English championship side West Bromwich Albion against Fulham on Saturday, Nigeria's Super Eagles defender Semi Ajayi has been named in Championship Team of the Week.

BSN reports that the former Rotherham United players was the saving grace for West Brom at the Craven Cottage as they remained unbeaten this season.

In the Team of the Week released on Monday morning Ajayi was named as one of the best defender for the Week.

After Anthony Knoachot opened the scoring for Fulham, it was Ajayi that netted a equalizer later in the game and ensured that West Brom secure at least a point from the encounter.

Since moving to the Hawthorns Ajayi has played every single minute for the club in the league.
