Ajayi sets for contract extension at Al-Ahly

Following his blistering form since moving to Egyptian Premier League, former Dream Team VI striker Junior Ajayi is on the verge of contract extension with Al Ahly.

Former Shooting Stars forward who left Tunisia side CS Sfaxien for Ahly returned to the team after spending few months in the treatment room.

Al-Ahly Director of football Sayed AbdelHafiz confirms Ajayi discussion with the club.

According to Abdelhafiz, "Ajayi is on the verge of signing a new contract, only the final touches are missing.

"It will be done in a couple of days," he said.

Since joining Al-Ahly in 2016 Ajayi has scored 24 goals in 80 games for the club.
