Nigeria's Super Eagles striker Junior Ajayi has extended his stay with Al Ahly of Egypt until 2022, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

The skillful forward who moved to the Egyptian giants in 2016 from Tunisia side CS Sfaxien, has since being a regular player and a thorn in the flesh and threat to the opposing teams in the league.

Former African champions confirmed the extension via its social media handle on Monday afternoon.

Since his arrival Ajayi has scored 24 goals in 80 games for Al-Ahly.

Despite spending the last 3 months in the treatment room, Ajayi has scored 3 goals in the last 4 matches for the club.
