Ajayi wins goal of the month in Egypt

Nigeria's Super Eagles striker Junior Ajayi continue to knock on the door of the national team heavily with his performance for Al-Ahly in the Egyptian premier league, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

BSN reports report that Ajayi was outstanding for the club in the month of September with goals in the CAF champions League match and against rival Zamalek.

His goal against Zamalek was adjudged to be the goal of the month for September and he was awarded on Friday afternoon.

The former Shooting Stars striker has been an integral part of the Super Eagles en route Russia 2018 World cup before injury knocked him out.

Ajayi is expected to continue his rich vein of form when the CAF champions League resume in November.
