Nigeria's Super Eagles goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi is still in cloud nine after he joined one of the South Africa top side Kaizer Chiefs, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The Amakhosi signed former Warri Wolves safe hand on a 1 year and 5 months deal last week to replace injured Khune Itumeleng.
The agile goaltender reacted to the move on his social handle .
" I feel so honoured to be part of this family #amakhosi4life. I walk tall and strong #confidence.
Even when it feels like am alone at a point, but each time I remember, there was a dream that started years ago and there are thorns that I must go through to achieve it.
I press even further towards the mark, because this thorns are surely the test that qualifies me to achieve what God has ordained beforehand.
It is not meant for everyone, it's only for those that have been destined for greatness.
This is just a step to the greater height", he concluded.
Akpeyi made his debut for Kaizer against Orlando Pirates in the Soweto derby, just after few days he arrived the club.
