Akpeyi Shines As Kaizer Chiefs Pick Caf Champions League Group Stage Ticket

Nigeria's Super Eagles goalkeeper, Daniel Akpeyi was the saving grace for South African Premier League side, Kaizerchief as they qualified for the group stage, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Angolan side Primero Agosto played hosts to Amakhosi after playing out a goalless draw in the first leg played in South Africa in December.
The game started with hosts dominating the proceeding and it almost paid off in the 8th minute but Akpeyi was on hand to save the day.
Akpeyi pulled off another fantastic save in the 27th minute to keep the game at goalless.
Nigeria international was again called into action in the 38th minute and never disappointed the Kaiser Chiefs fans as he made another surprise save.
Forward Castro netted the only goal of the game in the 41st minute to put the visitors in the driving seat.
The hosts continued to mount pressure on the South Africans but Akpeyi's outstanding performance kept the game at 0-1 on aggregate.
Kaizerchief secured a 0-1 away win and progressed into the group stage of the competition.
