Al Ahly Keeps Pitso Mosimane On His Toes
By Uche Dozie
There are reports of dissatisfaction from the top hierarchy of the most decorated club in Africa, AlAhly with Pitso Mosimane with regard to recent results, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Pitso, 56 took Al Ahly SC to their ninth triumph in the CAF Champions League and won a bronze medal at the FIFA World Club Cup in the 2019/2020 season.
The results however, have not been in the favour of the two-time CAF Champions League winner recently winning two games in their last five matches in the league with their most recent loss coming against Ghazl El Mahalla.
The Club of the century is currently sitted second on the Egyptian Premier League table, four points adrift rivals Zamalek though with two outstanding games.
According to African football expert, Nuhu Adams, the officials feel the team’s form keeps declining and if it continues a decision might be taken.
Consequently, it is expected of the former Orlando Pirates coach to turn things around in no distant time.
