The club has been undergoing closed camping in Cairo, Egypt in readiness for the important first-leg game. Al Hilal triumphed over Ethiopian club Fasil Kenema to face Rivers United who defeated Young Africans of Tanzania to reach this level. The Sudanese champion departed Egypt in the early hours of Thursday via private jet and landed at the Murtala Airport in Lagos where they will connect another flight for Rivers state venue of the match. The match is slated for the weekend with the return taking place next weekend.
