Alan Shearer criticizes Nigerian star as Everton vs Tottenham ends in a Draw.

England and Newcastle United legend Alan Shearer criticized Alex Iwobi's, saying he was responsible for the mistake that led to Tottenham's goal in Everton's 1-1 draw with Tottenham in their Premier League clash at the Goodison Park on Sunday. Bsnsports.com.ng understands

Alex iwobi in the 63rd minute set up a poor back pass which was capitalized on by Son Heung-Min who facilitated the chance that led to Dele Alli scoring the opener for the North London side.

The Nigerian playmaker had a quiet day and was rated (6.3) amongst his teammates who started the game, according to Whoscored.com.

"It was a silly mistake from Iwobi," BBC Match of the Day pundit Shearer said in their post-match analysis, alongside Ian Wright.

"He should have taken the option of a simple pass to Gomes, but he  picked a wrong one, straight into the feet of Son. And then that brilliant finish from Alli.

Everton's striker, Cenk Tosun got the equaliser for them at stoppage. Everton sits on 17th position on the premier league table with 11 points from 11 games.
