Former Derby Football Academy of Jos, Plateau State attacker, Izunna Christopher's a year contract with Albani's giants, KF Vllazina has been extended to four years, BSNSports.com.bg reports.

The European club will extend the deal to four years based on the player's first season performance.

Izunna, 19, one of the most talented players of Derby Football Academy of Jos on Thursday put pen to paper to seal a year deal and starts his career from Europe.

KF Vllazina coach, Hassan Lika was happy to add such talented player to his squad, believes he will add more flair to his team's striking force in the second stanza of the Albania league.

"Yes, we have signed him for one year, and he is expected to arrive and start the league campaign with us. His acquisition will add the necessary bite and flair to the attack which will help the team to succeed when the second stanza of the league starts."

In the same vein, the club's Sporting Director, Firat during his visit to Nigeria has described the forward acquisition as the beginning of the best thing to happen to the club as they are about to kick off the second of the league.

The club director also hails the partnership between Derby Football Academy of Jos and KF Vllazina which he described as a mutual benefit for both parties as they hope to get more talents from the Jos,Plateau State, Nigerian based football academy.
