Algeria, Nigeria, Others Have Potentials To Win World Cup - Motsepe

President of Confederation of African Football ( CAF) Patrice Motsepe has said some Africa countries have potentials to emerge champion of the world, BSNSports.com.ng can reports.
The former president of Mamelodi Sundown of South Africa made the statement during a press conference organised in Benin Republic ahead of the confederation cup final between Raja Casablanca of Morocco and JS Kabyle of Algeria.
Motsepe who arrived in Cotonou on Friday alongside secretary general Veron Mosengo-Omba said his objective is to see an African country win FIFA World cup.
"One of our dream is to see an African country win FIFA World Cup. Nigeria, Senegal, Algeria, Cameroon and others has potentials," he said.
Since inception of the FIFA World cup, no African country has played in the semi final of the competition.
Only Cameroon, Ghana and Senegal has appeared at the quarter final.
Qatar 2022 will be another opportunity for an African country to challenge for the biggest football crown.
