Through Twitter, Mauritanian journalist, Lassana Camara, had announced the imminent arrival of Rohr as replacement for the dismissed Rabah Madjer. However, the leadership of the Federation know that bringing the German will come cheap as he presently earns approximately 40,000 euros a month. The German coach has managed Niger, Burkina Faso and Gabon national teams before he was appointed Nigeria coach in 2016.
