Algerian football is in shock after Sofiane Loukar passed away this Saturday during a second division match, Bsnsports.com.ng can report
The MC Saida captain is said to have suffered a Ukrainian trauma that forced him to be assisted outside the four lines.
On his return to the pitch, Loukar ended up having a cardiac arrest and died on the spot, despite attempts to resuscitate him by the medical teams.
This is the third footballer death this week. In addition to Loukar, Raqadi (Oman) passed away during warm-up and Marin Cacic (Croatia) succumbed during training at Nehaj.
