Algerian Top Club Pull Out of Football Activities Due To Financial Instability

Following the financial instability of the Union Sportive de Medina d'Alger, USMA, the Algerian league side have pulled out of all football activities, BSNS ports.com.ng can reveal.

BSN reports that the Algerian football club side have been struggling to meet financial requirements of staffs, technical crew and players in recent time and the management decided to pull out of all football activities to settle their financial instability before returning back to football.

But on Tuesday the Club was finally declared bankrupt by Algeria football authority after it was confirmed that they are owing the players' salaries for 6 months.

Despite situations, their status in the CAF champions League match is yet to be determined as they have already qualified for the group stage of the competition.

USMA was founded July 5th 1937 and has never been declared bankruptcy until lately. The team lost their last two league matches to MC Oran 4-0 and at home to MC Alger 3-0.
