ALLEGATIONS OF FORMING A PARALLEL LEAGUE IS BASELESS----- OLISA ONUCHUKWU

National Coordinator of Nigeria National League and CEO, Nnewi United, Olisa Onuchukwu has described as baseless, false and figment imagination of low minded people on the ongoing swealing allegations of gulvanising other private football clubs in the country to form a parallel private football league.

Olisa, in an exclusive Interview with Sunday Agunbiade on the clarification of the said rumour said "I have never given it a half thought to create any parallel league with any clubs and I challenge anyone who has facts about this misguided information to come out openly and prove it. I started my football career here in Nigeria and I played for the national teams at different age grades which later translated to the Super Eagles team squad. Quote me anywhere, I always evolve, support and contribute my quota to any program, policy and ideas that would move Nigerian football forward. The existing league is not only our heritage but its also our pride and we must work together with the present leadership of the NFF to achieve greater results. The present NFF has done enough to bring Nigerian league from where it's used to be and gradually taking it to an enviable heights". Olisa posited

The Ex International who used the occasion to convey his new year message to Sports loving Nigerians through Ibadan based journalist said he congratulate Nigerians for seeing another beautiful year in the land of the living and pray that the Almighty God would continue to guide, protect and bless everyone with dews of heaven couple with sound health particularly the leadership of the NFF to witness the end of the year. "I want to congratulate Sports loving Nigerians for witnessing another beautiful year and I pray that the the Almighty God would continue to increase the wisdom of the leadership of the NFF to take Nigerian football to the next level.
