Amapro 2020: The Consistency of Musa Usman and revelation of Shemsak Sati By Editor Musa Usman was on the podium again at this year's Amapro football championship final event for yet another reason that justify his award as King of Amapro's last edition. Musa was part of the La Planet Sport Academia's team that won the 5th edition of the Amapro championship after defeating Non-leaguers 2 goals to 1 on Sunday ,9th of November at the Kwara Stadium Main bowl, Ilorin. What more from this lad as he won the best goalkeeper award of the tournament. The under 17 goal stopper has once again prove the best of qualities that characterised an occupant between the two sticks. Having recorded the most clean sheets in the tournament, his usual heroism  played out from the beginning of the competition to the end. Especially as he saved three penalties at the quarter final stage against the NLO All Stars. He was discovered at the last year's Amapro from Ultimate Football Academy. The team who participated in the tournament for the first time and reach the final against all odds before losing 2 goals to Nil to NPFL All Stars. Shemsak Sati is by all standard  one of the biggest revelation in the scouting tourney. The young midfielder from Jazzy Stars FA rendered a significant bit of the lots as his Jos based side made it to the semi-final before losing to La Planet. Noting his qualities, he was reviewed to be a good passer of ball combine with his ability to dictate the pace of the game while connecting the halves together. Though only scored one goal in this year's tournament and gave four assists, making him the toast of spectators are his shielding ,positional and shooting abilities which set him at top of his peers. Sati, due to his performance was awarded the King of Amapro 2020( Most Valuable Player) at the final event where he was even physically absent. Why? It will interest one to know that the midfielder upon being noted as an asset has been call up to join an NNL side ahead of the next football season. Such is the typical hallmark of Amapro championship where grassroots players get transited to the top stage in order to fulfil their dream. Amapro has indeed been closing the gap between the players at the top and bottom.it's just what it is expected to do.
